No one has mentioned it and I haven't seen any emergency vehicles pass by which they would have to get to the arch because this is the only road that leads to it >Probably some junkie that doesn't know what shes talking about >About half an hour later see some emergency vehicles pass by >Maybe she was telling the truth, took their fucking time getting here though >Older woman comes in and can't wait to tell me the gossip >Says someone has been murdered at the arch and there's blood everywhere >Yeah I know, they got stabbed >Asks me how I know >Tell her a woman came in about half hour early and told me >She couldn't have, her neighbour had only just seen the body and rang the police, presumably the first one to find it, and shes been with her since then >I know her neighbour, because she comes in the shop she's an older woman too, tell her I'm not talking about her I'm talking about the qt >Following day police come in and ask me about it >What they really want to know is how I know she was stabbed >Tell them gt told me >Give them description of her >Both look at each other >Ask me to show them on the CCTV >Can't, its broken, it's just there as a deterrent really, shows things in real time but doesn't record >Say they might need to come back >Don't >Sit reading the paper >A girl in her 20s was the victim >No picture of her so can't verify whether it was some kind of ghost telling me or if she was just someone who witnessed it >But she never came back in and when she came in the first ime she didn't buy anything
